I hope that you enjoyed these pictures of life in the desert.

Unfortunately there is another side, that no one wants to know about, particularly the politicians and bureaucrats. It is one of death, malnutrition, illness and chronic social dysfunction.

Do-gooders, crooks, gold diggers, and zealots all abound here and the people remain poor.

Out of sight, out of mind truly applies.

Where are the voices calling for reform?

Where are those thousands of guilt ridden people that go on reconciliation walks, when they are needed?

Three politicians have been here in as many months, but what did they seek except bargain basement art?
